Councilman Mark Ciarrocca explained the Westfield Instant Alert Plus system the town has implemented at Tuesday night's Town Council meeting. The system allows for the town to alert residents in a timely fashion about emergencies in town. In his remarks, Ciarrocca explained how the system works and the benefits of enrolling online for the system. As a public service, Westfield Patch taped his remarks.
