Annual recognition breakfast was held on Friday, April 26.

The Town of Westfield honored its 60 crossing guards on Friday, April 26, 2013,  at the annual Crossing Guard Recognition Breakfast.  The event was sponsored by the Parent Teacher Council and B.R.A.K.E.S. (Bikers, RunnersAnd Kids are Entitled to Safety), a pedestrian organization in Westfield.  The crossing guards play an important part in the completion of the goals of B.R.A.K.E.S.: to improve safety for all pedestrians and to encourage children to walk or bike to school.
