What's happening in Westfield this week?

Monday: 

The Spring Foreign Film Festival concludes today with showing of "The Piano in a Factory," which is in Mandarin Chinese and runs 100 minutes, at 2 and 6:30 p.m.

The Peace & Justice Committee of Holy Trinity & St. Helen's will host a presentation about Human Trafficking, at 7:30 p.m. in the  The speaker will be Sr. Susan Francois from the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center in Seattle. Thehosts a weeklygroup in the church's Jim Cole Room on Tuesday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. The group is for those searching for work and membership is open to everyone in the Westfield community. The group offers support in the searching for work process and allows for networking and the sharing of job search information.

A new gallery of Charles Addams cartoons will be displayed in the Theater of Westfield, a 90-year old institution that was depicted in many of Addams' best work for The New Yorker magazine and elsewhere. The unveiling coincides with the 100th anniversary of Addams' birth and is a fund-raiser for the Charles Addams Art Scholarship. The unveiling will be held at 4:30 p.m. and hosted by A. Dale "Bud" Mayo, digital theater pioneer and entrepreneur and chairman and CEO of Digital Cinema Destinations Corp. and Ron MacCloskey.

The  is offering a program for teens where high school-aged members meet each Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m at the agency.

The Westfield Board of Education will meet at 8 p.m. The Board will decide whether to adopt a bond proposal that would be used to fund the installation of a multi-purpose turf athletic field with lights at .

Wednesday:

 of Westfield presents "Mommy & Me" digital cinema matinees every Wednesday. Mommy & Me matinee will be a choice of the same six first-run Hollywood productions playing that evening, but for a matinee price of $8.50 (children under two are free). Coffee With Conscience will close its 2011-2012 season with a performance by Sean Altman and the GrooveBarbers. Altman is considered "the father of modern a cappella." For 11 years, he was a lead singer, arranger and composer for the pioneering group Rockapella, with whom he released nine CDs and starred in the five-year PBS-TV series 'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?' Altman composed the ubiquitous "Carmen Sandiego" theme song, which continues to get international airplay. Enjoy end-of-the-season ice cream social.

Sunday:

The is revving up for its annual car show. From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. more than 75 exotic cars from all across New Jersey will be on display in the Verizon parking lot on the corner of North and Central Avenues. In addition to hot rods, muscle and antique cars, custom motorcycles, a speed boat and the Batmobile will be on view.
