Skibitsky Appoints Two to Communications Advisory Board

Livolsi and Dattillo to serve three year terms.

Mayor Andy Skibitsky announced two appointments Wednesday night to the town's communications advisory board.

Leo Livolsi and Jeff Dattillo were both appointed to the board for three year terms, expiring on Dec. 31, 2012. Skibitsky said the appointments were accidentally left off the large list of appointments he and the Council announced at the Town Council's reorganization meeting on Jan. 5.

The communications advisory board advises the Town Council and town staffers on communications policy in the town. This includes the town website, town newsletter, public relations, community outreach and TV-36.

The board advises on the operations of the town television station and will play a role in the recruitment of a new TV-36 director. The previous director, Jamie Lynn Drohan, resigned last fall to take a position as a television reporter with a station in Tennessee.

The communications advisory board operates under the leadership of Councilwoman Vicki Kimmins.
