Roosevelt School to Hold 14th Annual Veterans Day Honor Assembly
Retired Captain Mr. Patrick Boyer is be both the recipient of "The Heroes Among Us" Award and honorary guest speaker.
On Monday, November 12th, Roosevelt Intermediate School will be holding its 14th Annual Veterans Day Honor Assembly. This assembly is to increase students’ understanding of the role of veterans, who veterans are, and why they should be honored.
This year RIS has selected Retired Captain Mr. Patrick Boyer to be both the recipient of “The Heroes Among Us” Award and honorary guest speaker for his service in the United States Army. The assembly will be held period 1 in the Roosevelt gymnasium. Attached is a copy of the program. Roosevelt Social Studies teacher, Brian Vieth, invites you to attend.
