PolitickerNJ: NJEA Endorses Bramnick and Munoz for Reelection

Teachers' union supports Republican incumbents for Assembly.

The New Jersey Teachers' Association has endorsed Assemblyman Jon Bramnick, R-Westfield, and Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, R-Summit, in the November election. The endorsements come as a part of a statewide list of mainly incumbent members of the State Legislature.

Bramnick is seeking his fourth full term representing the 21st district and Munoz is seeking her first. The assemblywoman was appointed in April to fill the seat left vacant by the death of her husband, Eric Munoz. The Republican ticket is facing a Democratic ticket of former Cranford Mayor Norman Albert and Springfield Township Attorney Bruce Bergen, who are viewed as placeholder candidates.
