New Pipes Placed at Corner of Saint Marks and Euclid

Intersection prone by flooding.

Town public works crews placed new pipes at the intersection of Saint Marks Avenue and Euclid Avenue this afternoon.

The work at the corner of the road, placed small pipes helping direct water towards sewers on both streets. The pipes were covered with concrete and blocked off in the afternoon.

The intersection, closer to the corner worked on, has been prone to flooding in the past few months during large rain storms. During the nor'easter in late winter, the flooding spread past the corner to dominate the entire intersection.
