Mayor's Behavior 'Disgusting Display of Arrogance,' Resident Says

In a letter to the editor, resident Marci Bandelli describes her disbelief with Mayor Andy Skibitsky's behavior at Tuesday's council meeting.

The following is a letter to the editor provided by a Westfield resident.

                               The Narcissistic Mayor Skibitsky

I was visibly shocked and offended by Mayor Skibitsky’s behavior when I, an 11year resident of Westfield attended the October 22nd Town Council meeting.  Not only did he lack complete empathy for the residents who were vying for his attention for several years over a dangerous crosswalk and traffic light that was placed on a resident’s property, but refused to even look at these residents. His hasty body language, lack of eye contact and disregard for those who disagree with the ALL Mighty clearly describes his true narcissism. And his posse (town council) with the exception of David Haas wasn’t much better.

It appears we have a very big problem here in Westfield if our Mayor and Town Council (with the exception of David Haas) are not interested in communicating or problem solving with those residents with who elected them. This Mayor and Town Council displayed behavior last night and every other night I have attended the Town Council meetings that residents are not worthy of any type of response, not even a phone call if they take a position that differs from the king and his followers. It was a disgusting display of arrogance, entitlement and a genuine disdain for the residents of Westfield.

Mayor Skibitsky, you have abused this honor of being our Mayor. With any luck you will be voted out.
