Daggett Lawn Signs Sprout Around Westfield

Independent candidate for governor gets lawn signs out in public places.

Independent gubernatorial candidate Chris Daggett is winning the lawn sign race in Westfield.

Lawn signs for Daggett and his lieutenant governor running mate, college professor Frank Esposito, have started appearing around Westfield, including along North Avenue and in the triangle park on Benson Place near Harding Street. The green signs include the ticket's endorsement by the state Sierra Club.

Few lawn signs have been seen for either Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican nominee Chris Christie in Westfield. Most of the lawn signs for Daggett appear on public places around town. The Daggett/Esposito campaign has also placed a number of lawn signs along the Route 22 interchange with Springfield Avenue in Springfield and in other high profile public places in the region.
