Changes in Washington School Polling Location

Polls moved from county clerk's office to Froelich Building.

Due to construction issues around the county complex on North Avenue, Washington School parents who vote at the county clerk's office adjacent to the Drug Fair parking lot will be voting at the Froelich Public Safety Building on North Avenue, adjacent to Lindeman Buick.

Washington Principal Andrew Perry made the announcement in a school wide email today. In his e-mail Perry said that there have been issues surrounding parking at the Froelich building due to the on-going construction of a new parking garage for county vehicles at the site. Perry said his office has received calls from Washington parents saying that voters had been denied parking to allow for construction vehicles.

Perry said he and BOE officials have been in contact with police officials about stationing a police officer at the site to assist with parking.  In his email, Perry said parking should be clear at the site after 4 p.m.
