Bramnick Seeks Interns
Local assemblyman offering internships for college and high school students in his Westfield office.
Assemblyman Jon Bramnick is searching for high school students and college students to intern in his office during the summer or the regular year.
According to Bramnick, the interns will be conducting typical office work, researching new ideas for legislation and working with the community by attending events.
“The interns will see what the public expects of their public officials, they will have a whole bunch of different experiences with the public and they will see how a law just passed and the different procedures one must follow to get a law passed,” said Bramnick, the Assembly's minority whip.

Bramnick, the ranking minority member of the consumer affairs committee and the law and public safety committee, is not seeking a specific number of interns since the number of interns he accepts will depend on how much time they are willing to put in.
According to Bramnick, interning in his office will be beneficial to students in that it will give them some experience and it will be helpful for the student’s résumé.
