Accordng to police, the suspect waited in line, approached a teller and handed her a note on which he'd written, "I want all the money lose bills." The teller, who had placed about $5,700 on top of her cash drawer, stepped away from her drawer and handed the note to the teller next to her. As she turned to the other teller, the suspect allegedly grabbed the cash and ran out of the bank and fled the scene in a black sedan.

On Sunday, Westfield Police Department Captain David Wayman said the suspect did not display a weapon to the teller. The robbery is under investigation by Westfield detectives and was reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is expected to assist in the investigation.
