WHS Student Reports Theft of Wallet from Locker

Taken during change of periods.

A Westfield High School student contacted police on May 17 to report the theft of a wallet from her locker in the girls' locker room at the high school.

The student reported that the theft occurred on May 13 between classes. It is not known where in the locker room the wallet was when it was stolen. It is also not known if the locker was unlocked at the time of the theft.

The wallet is described as a Coach wallet containing a personal ID, keys and cash. The value of the theft is $200.

There have been a string of thefts from the gym locker rooms at WHS during this school year. Most of the thefts occurred during class periods and occur from bookbags lefts unsecured and lockers left unlocked.
