Two Unlocked Cars Burglarized

The theft of items from unlocked cars continued this week, with two residents reporting thefts on July 22.

A resident of the 600 block of Ardsleigh Drive reported that currency and a radar detector were stolen from their car. The car was parked at the house and unlocked at the time of the theft.

A resident of the 200 block of Orchard Street reported that cords and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from their unlocked vehicle. The car was also parked at their house and unlocked at the time of the theft.

Last week, several residents reported thefts from unlocked cars parked in driveways.

The thefts are under investigation by the detective bureau.
