Two Newark men were in custody today after they carjacked a Lexus in Westfield, dodged a police officer's bullets in Mountainside, then crashed their getaway car, authorities said, according to nj.com.
Caavon Hinson, 24, and Lamar Randleman, 25, drove into Westfield in a rented Chevy Malibu when one of them got out of the car on Minisink Way and carjacked the Lexus, Mountainside Police Chief James Debbie said, according to nj.com.
