Three Teens Arrested and Two Teens Victimized in Strong Arm Robbery

Victims punched in face first.

On the evening of Sept. 4, police responded to a strong arm robbery on South Avenue West and Drake Place where two 17-year old Westfield residents were punched in the face before being robbed. The police have arrested three 17-year old Westfield residents in the case. The names of all are being withheld due to their ages.

The initial report was of a fight at the intersection. When police responded they discovered that the two victims had been punched in the face by a closed fist by three male suspects, before being robbed of their possession. An investigation led to three teenagers being arrested.
