Star Ledger: Westfield Resident Sentenced to Prison on Tax Charges

Printing business owner didn't report over $189,000 on tax returns.

David Waxtel of Westfield, the owner of a New York City printing business, has been sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison for not reporting $189,250 on his tax return with the Internal Revenue Service. Waxtel, who pleaded guilty last fall, had been charged with diverting business income to a personal account and not reporting that and rental income on his returns.
