Police Chief: Mischief Night Not that Bad

Franklin dumpster lit on fire, lawn ornaments stolen.

The night before Halloween's mischief night hijinks were not that bad this year, according to Police Chief John Parizeau.

Parizeau said the biggest problem found was a dumpster at Franklin School that was on fire, with most of the calls centered on toliet paper on people's front lawns. He did not see much serious damage in town.

"It wasn't that bad at all," he said.
