Police Blotter: Shoplifters Arrested at Lord & Taylor

Unattended property was stolen from the porch.

July 29

Danielle Lodato, 44, of Kenilworth was arrested at Lord & Taylor and accused of stealing $671.95 in items.

Dana Bamber, 43, of Roselle Park was arrested at Lord & Taylor and accused of stealing $381.49 in items.

July 30

Raymond Gigl III, 18, of Bridgewater was arrested for under 50 grams of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop at North Avenue West and Clark Street.

Patricia Henderson, 39, of Irvington was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Newark and bail was set at $300.

Michael DeFazio, 24, of Westfield was arrested in the area of Dorian Road and Westfield Avenue for possession of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Silvio Saa of Piscataway was arrested on a Piscataway warrant during a traffic stop.

August 1

While investigating a report of a suspicious person, police arrested Lamio Sharmell Varmel of Hazel Crest, Illinois, on a warrant from Point Pleasant Beach.

August 2

Stanley Dert, 37, of Roselle was arrested on two warrants from Roselle.

A Verizon worker reported the theft of equipment from a truck parked at East Broad Street and Central Avenue valued at $100.

A Mohawk Trail resident reported the theft of $100 from a parked car either on July 31 or August 1.

A 17-year-old Westfield male was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop at Barchester Way and Oak Tree Pass.

Qasim Allen, 18, of Roselle was arrested on a Piscataway warrant during a motor vehicle stop.

A resident of the 200 block of Baker Avenue reported the theft of a Razor scooter valued at $80 and a Silver GT Pro Series bike valued at $500. Both were on a porch before being stolen.

August 3

Ben Musto, 29, of Westfield was arrested on three court warrants while police were investigating the 500 block of Westfield Avenue. The warrants were $1,364 from Lacey Township, $1,000 from Kenilworth and $500 from Roselle Park.
