Police Blotter: Police Make Warrant Arrests

A look at the week in crime.

In addition to two burglaries on Jan. 31 and two fraud attempts in town, Westfield Police handled a variety of routine warrant arrests during the past week.

Jan. 28

  • Damon Carter, 34, of Roselle was arrested after a motor vehicle stop for a warrant from the sheriff of Union County, along with warrants from Newark and Cranford, for a total of four warrants from three departments. He could not post bail and was transported to the Union County jail.
  • Frederick Smith, 35, of Jersey City was arrested on the 100 block of North Avenue West for a $250 criminal warrant from Newark. He posted bail.

  • Michael Cislo, 42, of South Amboy was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at South Avenue West and Central Avenue for a ATS warrant from Sayreville.
  • Shiela Troutman, 21, of Dunellen and Nueesha Coleman, 20, of Plainfield were arrested outside of 600 South Avenue West on warrants. They posted bail.
  • Robert McCrea, 18, of Westfield was arrested for an outstanding warrant for his arrest out the Roselle Municipal Court. He was arrested in the area of the 100 block of Elm Street after a motor vehicle stop. He was transported to headquarters and posted $100 bail.

Jan. 30

  • Damien Rodriguez, 34, of Union Township was arrested at Westfield polcie headquarters for an active warrant for $279 out of Cranbury. He posted bail.
  • Angela Alston-Boccia, 45, of Montville was arrested in the area of Central Avenue and Park Avenue for a DWI. She was transported to police headquarters and released to a sobor adult
  • Kennth Avery, 53, of South Plainfield was arrested on Central Avenue and Clifton Street for DWI. He was transported to police headquarters and releasd to a sober adult.

  • Amon Wilkerson, 35, of Westfield was arrested on a Summit warrant after a motor vehicle stop. He posted $114 bail.

Feb. 1

  • Theodore Chletsos, of Edison was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop at Central Avenue and Starlight Court.
