Police Blotter Jan. 20 - 27: Four Cars Burglarized Wednesday Night
The following information was obtained from the Westfield Police Station. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Jan. 20 - Kendall Edwards was arrested at the East Orange Police Department on the strength of an outstanding Westfield warrant (bail set at $250). He was committed to Union County jail default of bail.
Glen Clisham, 32 of North Plainfield, was arrested at the North Plainfield Police Department on an outstanding Westfield OLS warrant ($625). Subject was committed to Union County jail after being unable to post bail.
Jan. 25 - Leonard Boyce, 41 of Melbourne, Fla., was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant from the Newark Municipal Court in the amount of $350 pursuant to a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the subject had an additional warrant for his arrest from Cranford Municipal Court in the amount of $89. Subject was processed and posted bail.

Four individuals reported criminal mischief, burglary and theft to their vehicles while parked at a business on the 300 Block of South Avenue. The incidents were reported at 9:14 p.m. on Jan. 25. Each reported that the actor(s) smashed the front passenger side window with an unknown object and removed items from the vehicle. The following was reported stolen from the four vehicles:
- A leather purse, wallet and $60 cash. Approximate value of theft was $620.
- A black leather purse, wallet and $50 cash. Approximate value of theft was $170.
- A Coach purse, Coach wallet, iPod, two pair of eyeglasses and $500 cash. Approximate value of theft was $2,050.
- A cloth purse, wallet and $40 cash. Approximate value of theft was $160.
