Police Blotter: Bike Stolen From Summit Avenue Home
This information was obtained from the Westfield police department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
Bike thefts continue throughout town. Following several weeks of reported bike thefts at the train station, a resident of nearby Summit Avenue reported a bike theft this past week.

A resident of the 800 block of Hillside Avenue reported an incident of identity theft when an unknown suspect attempted to obtain a credit card in the victim’s name.
A resident of the 500 block of Summit Avenue reported a bicycle theft when a bike valued at $100 was stolen from the backyard.

July 24
Kyle Rocha, 18, of Westfield was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the area of First Street and Rahway Avenue. Officers observed a vehicle driving with a flat tire and they pulled the car over. Rocha was then charged with DWI. He was processed and released.
July 26
Nia Bellazzin, 31, of Cranford was arrested at South and Westfield for an outstanding warrant from Bridgewater and Middlesex courts. She was processed and released on $1,250 bail.
July 27
Adrovel Alvarado Fernandez, 26, of Newark was arrested during a traffic stop on a Perth Amboy warrant. He was transferred to police headquarters and released after posting $500 cash bail.
July 28
Carlito Ferriera, 39, of Kearny was arrested on a $500 Long Branch warrant. He was processed and released.
