Westfield Residents Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

The following information was obtained from the Westfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

[The has started a new police blotter and was unable to provide the previous book to Patch Friday evening. As a result, the blotter entries for March 30 through April 4 are not included in this report.]

April 5 - William D. Way, 57, of Westfield, was arrested on a no bail Sherriff's warrant out of Somerset during a motor vehicle stop in the area on the south side of the train station. Way was transported to the Westfield Police Department, processed and turned over to Somerset County Sherriff's Office. 

Amira M. Chaghlil, 23, of New Providence, was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Rutherford Police Department during a motor vehicle stop in the area of E. North Avenue and St. Paul Street. Chaghlil was transported to Westfield Police Department, processed and released after posting $120 cash bail.

Kyle Fleming, 23, of Westfield, was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant issued by Westfield Municipal Court while at police headquarters. He was processed and released after posting $106 bail. 

April 6 - Daniel S. Johnson, 23, of Garwood, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop in the area of Sycamore Street and Columbus Avenue on an outstanding warrant issued by the Garwood Police Department and Clark Police Department. He was transported to Westfield Police Department, processed and released on his own recognizance by Garwood Police Department.
