Police Blotter: April 20 - April 27, 2012

The following information was obtained from the Westfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

April 20 – Juan Giraldo, 25, of Elizabeth, was arrested at Kean University on the strength of an ATS warrant ($60) issued by the Westfield Municipal Court pursuant. Giraldo was transported to headquarters, processed and released on posted bail.

Fannitta Durham, 24, of Newark, was arrested at the Union Police Department on the strength of an outstanding warrant for arrest ($500) issued by the Westfield Municipal Court. Durham was transported to headquarters, processed and released on posted bail.

April 21 – Jose Pazmino, 28, of Dunellen, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated pursuant to a motor vehicle stop at Central Avenue and Wyoming Street. Pazmino was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a sober adult party.

Ronald Cleeve, 44, of Roselle Park, was arrested in for obstruction and disorderly conduct. Cleeve was processed and released on his own recognizance.

A resident of the 700 block of William Grove Road reported that an act of criminal mischief was committed on a motor vehicle parked in the street. A blue Volkswagen had its rear window smashed with an unknown object. The total damage was approximately $500.

A resident of the 300 block of Orenda Circle reported being the victim of a theft. Unknown suspect(s) accessed the resident’s finances and removed $5,282.61.

A resident of the 600 block of Carleton Road reported being the victim of a theft. Unknown actor(s) stole a black iPad and a pair of glasses from a residence. The total value of the stolen property was $1,200.

April 23 – Joseph Muty, 24, of Westfield, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for his arrest ($130) issued by the Fanwood Municipal Court. Muty was processed and posted bail.

Charlie Craddock, 56, of Plainfield, was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant for his arrest ($1,878) issued by the Westfield Municipal Court. Craddock was processed and unable to post bail.

April 27 – Jamie Metner, 35, of New Providence, was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant ($89) issued by the Garwood Municipal Court. Metner was arrested during a motor vehicle stop near W. South Avenue and Crossway Plaza. Metner was transported to headquarters, processed and released on posted bail.

Robert Scarillo, 22, and Kyle Smith, 20, both of Dunellen, were arrested for CDS possession of under 50 grams of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on South Avenue. Both were released on summonses with a court date on May 17.
