More Lawn Decorations Stolen

A resident of the 1000 block of Prospect Street called police on Dec. 16 to report the theft of $200 in Christmas decorations. Stolen were two decorative gift boxes on the front lawn of the home.

This is the third reported incident of the theft of lawn decorations this month and the second on the 1000 block of Prospect. On Dec. 13, a resident of the block called police to report the theft of $550 in lawn decorations from the front lawn. It is unknown if the two incidents are connected.

On Dec. 5, a resident of Cumberland Street reported that $100 in lawn decorations had been stolen from their front lawn.

All three incidents remain under investigation and it is not known if any of the incidents are connected. The lawn ornaments remain missing.

Over mischief night in October several non holiday related lawn decorations were stolen from a private residence in town.
