Graffiti Strikes Again, BOE Vehicles and Baron's Drugs Hit Last Week

Incidents occur two days after Edison School dugout graffiti, school vehicles parked at Edison were tagged.

Vandals hit Westfield again last week when, two days after a dugout at Edison Intermediate School was tagged with graffiti, two school vehicles parked at Edison and a downtown business were also painted.

On Aug. 12, an employee of the Board of Education reported that two school vehicles parked at Edison were painted with graffiti, causing an unknown amount of damage. The vehicles are dedicated to transporting band equipment.

Later on Aug. 12, an employee of Baron's Drug Store on East Broad Street reported that graffiti was found on the side of the store. It is unknown how much damage the drug store graffiti caused. Westfield Police are investigating the incidents.

It is not immediately known if the two graffiti incidents are related to the Aug. 10 incident when a dugout at the baseball field behind Edison was tagged with various messages and a devil in silver graffiti.
