Girl Struck by Car on Halloween, Police Say

The accident occurred on Dudley Avenue and is still under investigation.

A juvenile girl was hit by a car on Halloween evening on Dudley Avenue, according to Capt. Scott Rodger of the Westfield Police Department.

At approximately 6:20 p.m., the car struck the girl on the 100 block of Dudley Avenue, Rodger said. She was transported to University Hospital, where she was treated and released, he said.

Rodger did not release the girls age. 

The accident is still under investigation.
