Fire Department, Rescue Squad Respond to W. Broad Street Car Accident

Two vehicles are being towed from the scene.

The Westfield Police and Fire Departments as well as the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad are on the scene of a multi-car accident that occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Friday on the 600 block of W. Broad Street.

According to reports, one vehicle was overturned and tow trucks have been called to remove two vehicles.

A patient was being treated at the scene by the rescue squad. Westfield Police Capt. Scott Rodger said the investigation is ongoing but added that he does not believe the accident resulted in any serious injuries.
