Connecticut and Watchung Residents Charged with Drug Possession

On July 23, Westfield police arrested two teenagers from out of town during a motor vehicle stop for allegedly possessing drugs.

Austen Adler, 19, of Watchung and Katrina Kostenko, 18, of New Canaan, Conn., were both charged with drug possession during a motor vehicle stop on the 800 block of North Avenue West. Adler was driving the vehicle and was additionally charged with driving with a revoked driver's license.

Kostenko was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance suspected to be cocaine along with possession of drug paraphernalia. Adler was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected to be under 50 grams of marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were released with summonses.
