A resident of the 400 block of Rahway Avenue contacted police on May 12 to report a burglary to her residence.
The resident said the burglary occurred between 5 p.m. on May 11 and 4:12 p.m. on May 12. The resident said there were no signs of forced entry to her apartment. The resident said she returned home and found the apartment ransacked. She was unable to determine what was stolen.
The burglary follows a series of burglaries in town over the last year. The burglaries have been centered mainly on neighborhoods close to main roadways and with easy access on and off of highways. This part of Rahway Avenue is located close to North Avenue.
