$10K Worth of Items Stolen From Home Under Construction
The home was unlocked at the time of the burglary, according to police.
Two flat screen televisions and a computer were among items stolen from a home on the 1100 block of Rahway Avenue that was burglarized while it was under construction.
The homeowner told the Westfield Police Department that the burglary that occurred between 7 p.m. on Aug. 18 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 19 while the home was unsecured.
Burglars also took off with eight pairs of basketball sneakers and miscellaneous baseball memorabilia, bringing the total theft to approximately $10,000.
