Westfield – Christine Treger, the Director of Christian Education at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield (PCW) has issued an invitation to the public to attend an interactive program on autism awareness entitled, “Friends like you, Friends like me.”

The presentation will be given three times on Sunday, September 22, 2013; at 9 a.m. for middle and high school students; at 10:15 for kindergarteners through fifth graders and at 11:15 for adults, following the 10 a.m. worship service.

Autism Educator at Children’s Specialized Hospital Adrienne Robertiello will make the presentations at the church which is located at 140 Mountain Avenue at E. Broad Street in Westfield. Mrs. Treger said the purpose of the special program is to help the congregation at large and children in particular to “learn tips and share resources to encourage positive interactions in our faith community and in our lives.”
