What's up with the roads?

The roads this morning (2-4-14) are very bad, particularly near the high school. The plows do not remove all the snow, and overnight it turns into ice, creating a dangerous situation. When my friend called about it, she was told the town is out of salt. Is this true? If so, can't we get more?
