A few players this season set records for the volleyball program including senior and captain Janet ranked Number 3 in blocks Junior Milly Suarez ranked number 2 in state for blocks as well as freshman and captain Leyla Rosario ranked number 1 in the state for Digs! The team would not be complete without all of our players coming together to make a difference in the New Brunswick Volleyball program this 2013-2014 season. JV had a record season with 14 wins and 3 loses!! On Thursday the team together with Coach DrLisa Pipher and Coach Kyle Mariano we will collect Number 19 that will be retired in honor of Destiny Betts who not only is an idiol to her team mates but a mentor leader and friend. When times got tough Destiny always had something uplifting to say to get her team mates motivated! We honor all our lady zebras and we will always be reminded of the power of a volleyball family this year as we will see Destiny Jersey hung in New Brunswick High school! To our seniors we love you we respect you and we hope you always remember your experiences when we laughed cried and played Volleyball with one another! You will all be remembered and missed! Thank you for always allowing your coaches to push you harder motivate you to be stronger and to teach you that volleyball is not an "I" but a family!
