Westfield Nutritionist, Author Dr. Arnold J. Susser Dies at 80

Dr. Susser served as the nutritional consultant to the trainers of the San Francisco Giants and founded Great Life Laboratories, Inc.

Private funeral services were held for Dr. Arnold J. Susser, “One of America’s Foremost Nutritionists,”  who passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1. 2013.  In a celebrated career that spanned five decades, Dr. Susser directly improved the lives of hundreds of individuals through nutritional counseling and clinical interventions.  A renowned lecturer, Dr. Susser appeared on several radio and television stations.  He is the author of The Good Book to Great HealthYour Super Antioxidant Prescription for Health and Longevity, The Indigestion of America, and How Did We Get So Fat? and a contributor to The Natural Healing Handbook.  He founded The Nutrition Society of America. 

Dr. Susser served as the nutritional consultant to the trainers of the San Francisco Giants and to the trainers of the New York Yankees.  Dr. Susser created unique, world-class supplements that continue to be available to the world.  His passion for the God-given healing powers of natural medicine will live on through his work.  He was predeceased by his brother Ernie and will be deeply missed by his wife Anne (nee Grosso) and their daughter Carly along with his children from a previous marriage; Bonnie and Michael, and a niece, Judy, in California.
