Mindowaskin Park Clean Up

April is National Volunteer Month! A spring cleanup & planting has been scheduled for Mindowaskin Park on Saturday, April 17th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Volunteers and organizations are urged to participate and bring gloves, rakes, and tools to trim shrubs. This qualifies for service hours for many groups. The Friends of Mindowaskin is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, founded in the early 1990's to revitalize and preserve the park. The mission of The Friends of Mindowaskin Park is to ensure the long-term enjoyment of this passive public park by Westfield residents and patrons. Currently under way is a fundraising campaign for the 'Memory Walk' at the Historic Bandstand. Granite pavers with your personalization are available for purchase from The Friends. This will be installed in the early summer of this year. Don't miss your opportunity to have your family, wedding, graduation or other special message captured in this unique venue.
