Blessing of the Animals Service
Do you love animals? Bring a neighbor or bring a friend to share in the Blessing of the Animals Service at First United Methodist Church of Westfield, 1 E Broad St. The service will be held on Saint Francis of Assisi Day—Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2:30 PM by the Memorial Garden (adjacent to the church parking lot). Bring your pet, a stuffed animal, photo, or special memory. Dogs must be leashed. Help hungry and homeless animals by bringing a bag or can of pet food, dog biscuits, cat treats, bird food, cat litter, etc. Donated items and monetary contributions will be given to a local animal shelter.
