50% OFF MARTIN LUTHER DAY SALE AT THE BEST FRIEND THRIFT SHOP

Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption will have their popular 50% off sale at the thrift store Sat. Jan 15th and Monday Jan.17th. The store is located at 1750 E. Second Street, Scotch Plains and is open from 10:30 to 4:30 everyday except Sunday and Monday. However, we will be open Monday MLK Day January 17th.

The Best Friend Rescue group is a not for profit organization run solely by volunteers.  You can find many one of a kind items, jewelry, collectibles, books, and knick knacks. We are graciously accepting donations of good quality merchandise to restock our shelves. We can use jewelry, cosmetics, record albums, music CD’s and DVD’s. Clothing as well as shoes and handbags are great sellers! We are always looking for antiques, small furniture, and musical instruments.  January is a good time to clean out your closets or perhaps you just received a holiday gift you cannot use.  Best Friend can turn these things into cash to help save animals in need!

The shop is urgently needs donations of new dog mats and large size leashes for their dogs in boarding. We are very much in need of dry and canned cat food.

Volunteers are always needed in the thrift shop. We also desperately need foster homes for our cats. Please help us to continue to save lives and give the gift of life to an unfortunate animal waiting to be rescued. Just imagine being cold, hungry and having no shelter.  This is what many of the animals are faced with in the winter months.  On top of that add illness and disease. With Spring just around the corner, a new wave of kittens will be born.  Many will die simply because there is no one to take care of them.
