Camp Like a Girl! GSHNJ Summer Camp Open Houses

Learn the Power of Camp! Interested in Summer Camp? Join Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey during an upcoming Summer Camp Open House. Open Houses give campers and parents the ability to meet our Camp Directors and summer camp staff, see the camp and property, and ask questions. All three of GSHNJ’s camps are American Camp Association (ACA) accredited and offer girls an enriching summer camp experience in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. Girls entering grades 1-12 can choose from one or more of the camps operated by the GSHNJ which welcomes all to participate in our summer camp programs.

Summer Day Camp Programs
GSHNJ offers centrally located transportation to both day camps with stops in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, and Middlesex Borough for Camp DeWitt and Hudson, Union, and Essex Counties for The OVAL.

• Camp DeWitt Open House (Hillsborough, NJ): Sunday, April 14 from 2:00-4:00PM - rain or shine!
• The OVAL Open Houses (South Mountain Reservation, Maplewood, NJ): Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 from 1:00-3:00PM - rain or shine! 

Resident Camp Program

• Camp Hoover Open House (Middleville, NJ): Sunday, April 21 from 1:00-4:00PM - rain or shine!

GSHNJ provides summer camp opportunities to every girl, regardless of her family’s financial situation. Financial assistance is available for girls who otherwise would not be able to attend camp. HURRY! Space is limited.
