First Congregational Invites all to Fall Open House


WESTFIELD – The First Congregational Church of Westfield welcomes visitors and prospective members to its annual fall Open House this Sunday, September 29, at 10 a.m.  All individuals and families who are seeking a new faith community are invited to attend.         

First Congregational Church, a member of the United Church of Christ, is an inclusive fellowship of people who, from a diversity of faith backgrounds, agree to walk together faithfully in God’s way.  The open house is an opportunity for visitors to experience a Congregational worship celebration, led by Reverend Dr. Mark Boyea, Senior Minister.  Church school and childcare are provided during the service for children of all ages.      
   
First Congregational Church offers a wide variety of ministry and fellowship opportunities for all ages, including adult education, music programs, community service, and summer mission trips.  During coffee hour directly following the service, representatives from the church’s boards will be on hand to provide information about outreach, education, and fellowship programs.  Visitors will also find a welcome table with information packets and a special gift at the church entrance.
