(December 21, 2012) – The Westfield Memorial Library is happy to announce that its first Story Slam for the year 2013 will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.
Story Slams are personal storytelling events that the Library holds on a quarterly basis. The topic for this session is “What’s New?” Participants are invited to tell a willing group of other storytellers and listeners about how they have celebrated the New Year, with resolutions kept or broken, or great memories of New Year’s Eve.
The event is free and open to Westfield Memorial Library and MURAL cardholders. MURAL cardholders belong to libraries that are part of the Middlesex Union Reciprocal Agreement Libraries.
