VETERAN'S DAY CEREMONIES

MARTIN WALLBERG POST #3 of the AMERICAN LEGION will host the Veterans Day Ceremony honoring all Veterans, living and deceased this Sunday at 12 Noon at the WWI Memorial at the intersection of North and E. Broad in Westfield. Speakers include The Mayor Andy Skibitsky, Post Commander Jim Kane, Retired Colonel Dennis Dougherty, and Master of Ceremonies Pete Hogaboom. Veterans are encouraged to meet at the Lord & Taylor parking lot on Ferris St. in front of the "Y" at 11:45 AM for the short march down to the WWI Memorial. Kerry Stubbs will sing God Bless America, Jack Panosh will ring the Town Bell in Rememberance of all our War Dead Wreaths will be placed by the American Legion, The Sons of the American Legion, The Auxillary of the AMerican Legion and Col Dougherty will place a wreath for the 117th Cavalry Assoc. and the 1-102nd Cavalry unit stationed at the Westfield Armory. Everyone is invited back to The American Legion Post at 1003 North Ave., W., Westfield after the ceremony for refreshments and commaradarie.
