Girl’s Party Dress Sale to benefit The Paul Jackson Fund

The Paul Jackson Fund will host a Party Dress Sale for teens on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St. Helen’s Church - 1600 Rahway Avenue, Westfield, NJ, from 1:30-4:30pm. The sale will feature gently worn dresses, for teens ages 12 -18, prices ranging from $15 - $30. Our goal is to enable young ladies, regardless of economic status, to attend their Prom/Dance/Formal Function in a beautiful dress. All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit The Paul Jackson Fund, which provides financial support to families in crisis because of a catastrophic illness or disability.

Paul Jackson was a gifted athlete, a local volunteer coach and a 1979 Westfield High School graduate. The Paul Jackson Fund, a 501(C)(3) organization, was created in 1991 to benefit Paul who became paralyzed due to a surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor. When he no longer depended on finances from The Fund, Paul decided to do everything in his power to help others.  Paul assumed leadership of The Fund and created a charity of last resort for people in financial crisis due to catastrophic illness or disability. Paul passed away in 2009; his wish was for the work of The Fund to continue. The proceeds from the Party Dress Sale will assist those most in need.
