Dr. Martin Luther King Interfaith Service

The 27th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Interfaith Service, sponsored by the Dr. MLK Association of Westfield,  will be hosted by Temple Emanu-El on January 20. The service, which starts at 1:00 pm, will be preceded by a march of the willing from the Dr. King monument on the South Ave. side of the circle. Marchers will proceed from the monument at 12:15 pm and march to the Temple. Those who are unable to march from the monument can join the marchers outside the Temple and can enter it together en masse.  This year's service will center around the theme "50 years after the march on Washington". The commemoration message will be delivered by Senior Rabbi Douglas Sagal of Temple Emanu-El. The public is invited to fully participate in this event.
