Continuo Arts Symphonic Chorus to Present Pre-Tour Concert

The Continuo Arts Symphonic Chorus will present a pre-tour concert,

hosted by Central Presbyterian Church as a prelude to their

international tour in Ireland and Italy, culminating in the historic

performance in the Sistine Chapel.

Featuring the music of  Composer Stephen James
Edwards, five movements of his “Requiem for My Mother”, previously premiered in
Carnegie Hall, will be performed. Approximately 20 singers from
All Saints Princeton  will be joining the tour with their director, Tom
Colao, and will also
present several solo selections by Palestrina, Purcell and Victoria.

On February 13th, members of the National Continuo
Arts Symphonic Chorus, singers from the All Saints Princeton choir, director
and Continuo Arts Associate Conductor Tom Colao and Principal Conductor Candace
Wicke, will travel to Ireland with many non-singing music and art
aficionados.  Over a hundred strong,
concerts will be presented in Limerick and Dublin with additional stops in
Waterford, and Wicklow. Then it is on to Italy with performances in Assisi, St.
Peter’s Basilica and culminating in the concert experience of a lifetime inside
the Sistine Chapel.

The February 11th concert is free and open to the public. For information, call 908-264-5324 or visit the web site www.continuoarts.com
