Butterflies Are Free opens at Westfield Community Players

(Westfield, NJ) Westfield Community Players continues its season with the comedy, Butterflies Are Free by Leonard Gershe. It is directed by Wanda Maragni and produced by Garry Tamburro

Butterflies Are Free is the story of young Don Baker, the hero of his mother's children's
book series, "Donny Dark"  who has been blind since birth, his overprotective
mother following his every move. Don finally decides to take his own
apartment in Manhattan and pursue his songwriting ambitions. When she
meets his kooky neighbor, sexy actress Jill, Mrs. Baker's controlling
instincts go into overdrive with hilariously touching results.

In the cast are Ross Pohling as Don Baker, Sherilyn Morse as Jill Tanner,
Jean Kuras as Mrs. Baker and Bobby Marusiefski as Ralph Austin.

Butterflies are Free runs March 8, 15, 22, 28, 29  2014 @8PM; March 16, 2014 @3PM.  Tickets are $20.00; Students $10.00 on March 16, 2014.  Current military personnel can purchase tickets at $10.00.
