A Spot of Tea

"The beverage called tea has now become almost a necessary of life." - Mrs. Isabella Beeton, The Book of Household Management, 1861.  The museum's program will highlight the most popular beverage in the world with a presentation including history, customs, and a display and descriptions of different tea varieties.  Also included are tours of the 1740 era farmhouse.  The gift shop, which carries a variety of colonial reproductions, toys, crafts, cookbooks and educational materials will be open.  Admission is $3.00 for adults and children age 13 and older, $2.00 for children ages 3-12 and free under age 3.
