Bramnick, Munoz Win Re-election for State Assembly

Republicans Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz have been re-elected to the District 21 State Assembly, unofficial results show.

Incumbents Jon Bramnick and Nancy Munoz are the elected winners for the two State Assembly seats in District 21, Tuesday’s unofficial results show.

Bramnick and Munoz lead the polls by more than 10,000 votes, according to unofficial results from NJ.com, which does not include mail-in ballots.

Bramnick has received 27,743 votes, while Munoz holds 26,695 votes. Democratic candidates, Jill Lazare and Norman Albert trail behind with 16,369 votes and 15,496 votes.

Assemblywoman Munoz has served on the assembly since 2009. Assemblyman Bramnick has been on the General Assembly since 2003 and serves as the Republican leader since 2012.

Both Assembly members are residents of Union County. Bramnick lives in Westfield, while Munoz lives in Summit.

District 21 is made up of portions of Morris, Somerset and Union counties, including the following towns: Berkeley Heights, Bernards, Chatham Borough, Cranford, Far Hills, Garwood, Kenilworth, Long Hill, Mountainside, New Providence, Roselle Park, Springfield, Summit, Warren, Watchung and Westfield.
