Westfielders Keep Their Cool At Memorial Pool

With temperatures in the mid to upper 90s, Westfield residents sought relief at Memorial Pool.

Pool manager Robby Granstrand said the complex saw its biggest crowd Tuesday.

"I think it's 95 (degrees) today and at that point I think people would rather just stay indoors in air conditioning," said Granstrand of Wednesday afternoon's moderate attendance.

The ping-pong tables and playgrounds stood deserted as children and parents were hesitant to leave the water to brave the hot pavement and slides.

How are you faring amid the heatwave?
