What happened this week in Westfield?

, 21, a  graduate, was jogging down Seven Lakes Drive west of the intersection of Lake Welch Drive in Harriman State Park between 5 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when a car hit her, then took off, the according to reports by the Times Herald-Record and Newsday. Lowenstein was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where she remained in critical condition Thursday.
